Virtual Tour The English Language Institute (ELI) of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) has provided solid instruction and advising to international students since 1980. Programs range from a six-level intensive English program to more specific courses for special groups. Arlington is in the middle of the Dallas- Fort Worth metroplex.

    The ELI of UTA uses "smart" classrooms with computer access. The ELI has two modern computer labs and use of a media lab. The student union is a 3 minute walk and the activities center is a 5 minute walk. UTA is 2 to 3 kilometers from two sports stadiums (Dallas Cowboys football and Texas Rangers baseball), Six Flags Amusement Park and Hurricane Harbor water park. Fort Worth is a 15 minute drive. Dallas is a 30 to 40 minute drive.
